Communications & Collaboration  Conceptual Change (KAT)
Collaborative Brainstorming  Whiteboarding

 Description

It is a real time online whiteboard collaboration tool, http://www.twiddla.com

Mark up websites, graphics, and photos, or start drawing on a blank canvas. Browse the web with your students or make that remote tutoring session more productive than ever. No plug-ins, downloads, or firewall voodoo - it's all here, ready to go when you are. Browser-agnostic, user-friendly.

 Features
  • Getting feedback on the design of a class website or blog.
  • Visually demonstrating reading skills, such as using context clues to understand vocabulary.
  • Visually demonstrating writing skills such as paragraphing or editing.

 Limitations
  • Sometime changes are not reflected among different collaborators.
  • If everyone starts to write on the whiteboard at once, or if everyone starts talking at once, it's problematic. This a challenge from a human interaction perspective, not a technical perspective.
