 Description

Cmap is a set of tools that allow you to do concept mapping which is different from mind mapping. Concept mapping is a techniques for visualizing relationships among different concepts.Through this concept mapping, relationship among the concepts are presented in a diagram format where concepts are connected with label arrow in a downward branching hierarchical structure. http://cmap.ihmc.us/download.


 Features
  • Maps can be saved locally on your PC or uploaded to a server so that they can be accessed from any location.
  • Saving on the CmapTools server means that several people can collaborate on the concept map simultaneously or at different times.
  • Within the server, Cmaps can be linked and web pages can be automatically created.
  • Fully customized maps that can be exported to several formats.

 Limitations
  • It is not possible to upload pictures and the tool is not printer-friendly.
  • May not be suitable for less visually-oriented people.
