 Description

Today much of our information consumption and research, whether at home, school or work, has shifted online. We are now spending a big part of our day working with online information - reading and researching related to travel, health, shopping, news, online learning, school papers...

Yet the workflow with information, from browsing, reading, researching, annotating, storing, organizing, remembering, collaborating, sharing, to connecting dots into knowledge, is largely ad-hoc and inefficient. Diigo has been designed to streamline the information workflow and dramatically improve your productivity!

Note:
Educators have the option to request a free education edition upgrade, which gives you the following additional features:

1. Create student accounts for an entire class with just a few clicks (student email addresses are optional for account creation)

2. Students of the same class are automatically set up as a Diigo group so they can start using all the benefits that a Diigo group provides, such as group bookmarks and annotations, and group forums.

3. Privacy settings of student accounts are more restricted

You can apply for this account option here.

 How it works

Diigo makes it easy to highlight text or add sticky notes to crucial parts of the webpage. It also allows e-readers to bookmark specific webpages and upload them even if they are dynamic or password-protected. Moreover, Diigo features tags and lists which are reliable for diverse and focused information, respectively. Overall, Diigo helps digital readers to collect, annotate, organize, and share information with ease. Some of its main features include highlights, personal library, tags, outliner, archived web pages, and bookmarks.
