Substitution - Instead of manually generating ideas, students can use the feature Socratic Dialogue feature which is a chatbot that help develop working on statements on topics like providing a starting point for their essays or discussions. Teachers can encourage students to use this feature to help the learners brainstorm on a topic.

Augmentation - Teachers can prompt learners to write assignments based on the brainstormed topic. Students can use Socrative Write feature to assess their work and receive personalised feedback based on the feedback plan designed by teachers.

Modification - The Socrat Collab feature modifies how group discussions and activities are conducted. Teachers can create and monitor small group or whole class discussions in real-time, with AI-powered summarisation tools providing synopses of student work. This transforms the traditional group work model by offering immediate insights into student contributions.

Redefinition - AI-powered Socratic dialogues creates entirely new forms of interactive learning allowing students to engage in deep, personalised conversations on complex topics. In a flipped classroom model, students could use these dialogues to explore subjects independently, coming to class prepared for more advanced discussions and activities.
