Lightworks is a professional video editing program that is popular among beginning videographers and filmmakers. With the help of this free video editing software you can make quick video footage editing for YouTube, video montage and publish videos on the web in several clicks. Lightworks free version meets all these requirements very well. However, novice video editors need some practice to get used to this program.


 How it works

1. Register for an account

2. Create a project document and specify the frame rate of the video

3. Import video, audio and picture files to the project from the local file

4. Creating your video by dragging and dropping into the timeline

5. Trim the clip by dragging the edges of the clip to shorten it.

6. Add music clips by drag and drop from the log bin to your timeline. 

7. Export your video by right clicking your mouse on the timeline and select the format for exporting.
